This is a difficult read in that it portrays the trials POW's of any era have to face when they return home and can't find understanding from civilians. Gabriel had been dealing with his PTSD and wasn't doing very well. That all changed when he met up with Nick and got his life together with a lot of Nick's emotional help and understanding.
